Good morning, first of all, I would like to thank all of my readers to be there for me. The fact is that it would not be as much fun without you.

I have moved with my family back to Iceland and the thing is, Iceland will always be HOME to me that is as simple as that. I am born in this country and therefore I think it is my responsibility to take care of it the same way as it has taken care of me from the day I was born. Most of my relatives live in Iceland and my parents and my in laws are over the moon to have us back, my little boy feels like he has relatives everywhere. Some of you have visited Iceland and I hope you all realised how special it is, the houses in Iceland are heated up with hot water that comes from the earth so they are constantly warm and comfy, the weather is very much to my taste; fresh and healthy, the cold water is my no.1 favourite drink and the natural light is so unique whitch makes it very handy when I am taking photographs, etc. I have lived in Australia, Sweden and England as you might know and that is an experience that I would not like to be without. Every one of those countries has a special place in my heart and the list of things that I like about them is also endless. I simply think we are very lucky people to get the opportunity to live and take care of this beautiful earth where there is something exciting around nerly every corner.

Those beautiful images are from a flat in Iceland in Flókagata in Reykjavík and I think this home represents Icelandic homes very well.

Cool flat in central Copenhagen in Denmark where the owner Pia Möller has done the paintings herself.

That dining table is to die for, it is the design of Mr. Norman Foster and I believe it is one of the most beautiful tables I have ever seen. Then what a good choice... the stunning Ray and Charles Eames chairs in white.
